It is a testament to Jamie and Ilva’s authenticity, generosity, and extraordinary gifts as teachers and mentors to entice me to come back for more. I was fortunate to attend their workshop in 2011 and jumped at the chance to learn from them again in 2014. Their passion for their work is infectious and as a team they provide a thematic program weaving images and words into compelling student produced stories. - Robin E. H. Ove, What About the Food
Attending the Plated Stories Workshop was an out-of-the-box experience I will never forget. The breathtaking Tuscan landscape and the rustic and beautiful La Casacce Villa provided the perfect setting for getting away from it all and focusing on writing and photography. The workshop was several days of intense focus, but the lessons I learned and the friendships I made have enhanced my life and will continue to take my writing and photography skills to the next level. If you get the chance to attend one of the Plated Stories Workshops, do it! - Cathy Warner, Bread Experience
The Plated Stories workshop was a refreshing and enriching experience. Both Jamie and Ilva are highly talented and successful in their fields. More importantly, they are generous teachers who genuinely want their students to do better. LOVED the individual feedback/coaching. The incredible Tuscan location certainly didn't hurt either! - Deepa, One Small Pot
